Abstract

The mobile phones have evolved as a key tool of economic empowerment for the world's poorest people. They have resulted in a
concept emerging in the electronic banking industry known as mobile money. Mobile money enables electronic transfer of money
from one person to another using a mobile phone. It is moving at a fast space in developing nations. This paper provides a brief
introduction to mobile money.
